Sunny Weekend........perfect for staying indoors!

It was so lovely and sunny in Wales that we didn't stay inside once, hence my hubby taking over 500 photos!

It's too cold in England, we have said that if we win the lottery we are hopping back over the border and not coming back again.

Talking of hopping, i've made this card today using the craftwork cards new items. I'm having to hold it up as it won't stay up itself!  I think I may have got the dimensions wrong, oh well, you learn from trial and error!

 This is meant to be my hubby's anniversary card, we have been married for 4 years on 23rd March but we were both dingbats and forgot to take the cards on holiday with us!   It's a Little Clair image, I absolutely love it.  Wanted to get some of the outline stickers but they didn't have any elephants, will have to try and get some online.

 Got the shaker card kits from the GNPE but i'm not sure if I like them, they said it made 10 cards, but the covers are too small for the actual cards you are sticking them on to, maybe i've missed something!

A Sunny Lunchtime at GNPE

I spent far too much, have taken pictures of my new stash, which will be added to the last lot I got.  I really need to sort it all out now!

The main things I wanted was glitter - check, gems - check, a new mat - check and some ribbon - check, the rest were just bonuses!  My husband thinks I have gone mad for taking photos of what I have bought!

March Cards

Haven't updated my blog in a few weeks, in fact haven't really made any cards in a few weeks but got inspired by the MSE'r who pointed me in the direction of some downloads and got my promarkers in to gear!

Finally managed to use some of my new stash!

The following cards are made from the craftwork cards project of the month......

 These are made using the hunkydory pick of the week on create and craft back at the end of Jan. Unfortunatley when i was watching it I had all kind of ideas as to what to do with them but then had a complete memory blank when I came to use them!

 And this one is using one of the templates from craft work cards.

Sunday Afternoon Antics

I only seem to manage to make cards on a Sunday afternoon, here are today's offerings!

Had to make some thank you cards, a valentine card and whilst I was at it decided to make a mother's day card :-)

 I bought a new CD the other week, the only part of my recent purchases that have arrived.  It's called 'Craft The Year Away' by funky hand.  I don't usually go for CDs but I really liked the images on it. And obviously it has Candi on it too, i've got that much it's coming out of my ears!

 I love this paper, it's from the current lets make card mag.  If anyone has seen any similar please let me know cos I think it's funky! |(and Candi!)

 This is my hubby's valentines card, hopefully he hasn't spotted it!  The blue card is embossed using a sizzix embossing folder, although once i put the top card over you can't actually see what it says!  (and candi!)

THis is going to be my mummy's mothers day card.  Unfortunately it's a rubbish picture and you can't see what the text says, but basically she has been fab this year, my dad has been really poorly and she is looking after him fabulously and also she paid for my replacement car once i got told that my money was coming through!

this is one of my thank you cards and my entry in to ScattyJan's contest.  Spotty Circles and glittery, BINGO!  I do hope that's what was meant anyway.  The mouse is from one of the crafters companion stamp sets that i got in the hobby craft sale for £2.50 a sheet.  (plus lots of candi!)
